7 1970 G. Cardona invents a hydraulic cutter to help the extrication of car crashes victims: the “LIBERVIT device” is born. 1972 First hydraulic cutter patent for a tool using a mobile blade as well as two fixed ones. The “LIBERVIT device” receives the gold medal at the international inventions exhibition in Brussel. 1982 Development of a “three-blade” cutter for nuclear site decommissioning. 1989 Conception of a self-contained extrication dorsal unit for easy access to victims in confined situation or steep ground. 1993 Creation of the LIBERVIT Company focusing only on developing and manufacturing hydraulic tools. 2000 The company diversifies for the first time. LIBERVIT develops at the “RAID” request a special tool enabling the breaching of three-point locks. 2001 LIBERVIT carries on researches on clean and safe cutting solutions: developing equipment for the car industry quality control, the industrial recycling and the pulp and paper industry. 2003 Implementation of a Quality Control process within the company. 2006 In order to withstand the growing production needs and to be more efficient, LIBERVIT builds a new 1000 m² factory. 2007 Organization and classification of the products into three distinctive lines: ORANGEline, BLACKline and BLUEline, each with its own visual coding. 2009 Certification ISO 9001 obtained. 2013 Development of an underwater unit for Commandos Marine: creation of the LIBERVIT maritime tactical range. 2015 A new LIBERVIT rescue range is born : the LIBERVIT maritime rescue. 2017 Factory extension : addition of 1000 m². 2018 Creation of the new LIBERVIT DÉFENSE range. 2020 B.A.S. & B.A.S. superlight power units’ launch HISTORY
